In this section we answer some of the frequently asked questions we have been asked by Surveyors regarding our service. If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to call us or fill in our contact us form and we will call you back. Our aim is always to ensure that our Surveyors are fully informed and answer any of their queries swiftly.
Contracts - Who is the contract with?
The contract for the survey is between yourself and the client, just as in a normal contractual relationship. We can help by sending you a standard contract - please check you are happy with the standard contract.
You will be pleased to know that there is no contractual obligation to us - just between you and the client.
You can use our Terms and Conditions, which will be automatically sent to the client, unless you advise us otherwise, or we can send your Terms and Conditions.
We have a system in place to help Independent Surveyors but if it is not working for you contact us and we can discuss or agree not to agree or go our separate ways.
Many processes happen automatically unless you tell us otherwise - what are these?
You will be pleased to know we have automated as much as we can without losing the personal touch.
Our automated process includes the following unless you advise us otherwise (by email please):-
- Terms and Conditions in your name.
- Invoicing in your name.
- We can take payment by credit card.
So you can focus on the survey work.
Panel Surveyors? - we are NOT
For the avoidance of doubt, we are not Panel Surveyors, we are a group of Independent Chartered Surveyors and Engineers working together for our mutual benefit, providing an excellent service to our clients.
Payments - How will I be paid?
As your contract is directly with the client you payment is directly from the client. We can help if you so wish.
Paying Us - When and How do you pay 1st Associated?
We will expect payment usually at the weekend after the work has been carried out direct to our bank account.
